I am a passionate believer in us working closely together, to ensure that learners thrive. At Beacon Hill Academy, I want learners to enjoy their time at school, to feel safe, to feel supported and to make excellent progress as a result.

Both my staff and I passionately believe that every child matters. Every child has a wide array of talents, which we will identify, nurture and promote. I want every child who attends Beacon Hill to have opportunities to engage with world-class employers, to experience the benefits of having an outstanding Further Education provider as a key partner and to see the possibilities of attending the very best universities, both here in the UK and globally.

At our Academy, learners will be able to build outstanding leadership skills through an ever-expanding array of internal pathways but also through our links with well-established providers, such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and the Trust’s Student Leadership programme. This rich educational experience will give our learners the necessary skills, attitudes and ambitions to lead successful and fulfilling lives in an ever-changing world.

Our goal is simple, we want all learners to develop into independent, resilient and confident individuals who are proud not only of their own achievements but proud of their school and everything we collectively stand for.

It is clear to me that our academy is on an upward trajectory. We have the skills, experience and dynamism in the team at Beacon Hill to ensure that the academy goes from strength to strength. We have but one aim, to provide a world-class environment for students to learn and be fully immersed in.
